CNC Programmer

Due to continued growth I’m currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the CNC Programmer you will be responsible for ensuring quality engineering of components using relevant procedures and methods.

Shift pattern for the CNC Programmer:

Nights (Mon – Thursday 10pm – 6am)
(Friday 6pm – 12am)

What’s on offer for the CNC Programmer:

• Competitive hourly rate up to £21.00 DOE
• Monthly bonus
• Production bonus

Duties of the CNC Programmer:

• Machining quality components in accordance with technical engineering drawings and specifications
• Heidenhain controls
• Setting one off components using clamps, angle plates, etc.
• Deburring components and ensuring they are fit for transportation.
• Carry out daily bookings against route card jobs and timings.
• Inspection for all components throughout the process.
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with the Company’s H&S Policy.

The successful candidate for the CNC Programmers position will have the following experience:

• 3 – 5 year’s experience as a 5 AXIS CNC Miller working with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls (Essential)
• Ability to program offline (Essential)
• Able to read and interpret technical Engineering drawings (Essential)
