      Job Title: Field Service Engineer

       

      Location: Worcester

       

      Contracted working hours: Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4.30pm

      Friday:  8am – 4pm

       

      Job Type : Permanent, Full Time,  Company Van, + Yearly Company Bonus, + Overtime Option        

       

      Salary: Basic: Depending on experience                             From £28,600  to £32,000

      With Overtime worked (40hours on top  per month) :      From £38,500  to  £42,000

      Overtime is paid at time and a half

      Are you looking to take the next step in your engineering career with a company that values growth, learning, and hands-on experience? We’re looking for a motivated Field Service Engineer to join our team, working on a variety of exciting projects across the UK.

       

      In this role, you’ll be involved in installations as part of a team, while also taking ownership of individual servicing and maintenance tasks. Travel is a key part of the position, and you should expect to stay away from home between 1–3 nights per week, depending on project locations.

      Duties Will Include:

       

      • Carry out on-site installations as part of a team, ensuring equipment is installed safely

       

      • Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment across sectors such as warehousing, food production, and waste management

       

      • Diagnose and resolve faults, ensuring minimal downtime for the client

       

      • Conduct basic mechanical, electrical, and plumbing maintenance tasks on installed systems and equipment

       

      • Work safely at height (8-10 metre) using access equipment such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers following appropriate safety procedures

       

      • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards

       

      • Travel regularly across the UK with occasional overnight stays (typically 1–3 nights per week)

       

      • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with product knowledge and service procedures

       

       

       

      Skills & Experience Needed:

      • Ideal candidate will have a proven engineering orientated education/ work experience.
      • Previous engineering experience, either mechanical or electrical would be an advantage but not essential
      • Must have a valid clean driver’s licence
      • Must be prepared stay away from home between 1–3 nights per week, depending on project locations.
      • Confident with working at height from 8 – 10 metres
